Social Events
Annual events include:
- Zinck's Night in October
- Dinner & Hockey Game in January
- Slope Day Happy Hour in May
Recent family events have been held at Seabreeze Amusement Park and at Wickham Farms.
Speakers
For eighty years, the Cornell and Penn clubs have held a luncheon on the Monday before Thanksgiving. Recent speakers have included Economics Professor Robert Frank, Government Professor Adam Levine, and Bill Newlands, CEO of Constellation Brands.
Every January, we celebrate Ezra Cornell's birthday with our annual Founder's Day luncheon or dinner. Recent speakers have included Corey Earle, who teaches The First American University on the history of Cornell, Ryan Lombardi, Vice President for Student & Campus Life, and Mark Nelson, Dean of the Johnson Graduate School of Management.

Community Service
On Cornell Cares Day, Cornell alumni and students around the world work together on service projects in their hometowns and build connections with fellow Cornellians. Recent projects have benefited the American Red Cross and Mary's Place.
Student Events
Cornell Alumni Admission Ambassador Network (CAAAN) members meet with high school seniors who have applied to Cornell
University to share their experiences, provide general information about Cornell, and answer questions.
Each year, we award scholarships to Cornell students from the Rochester area.
In addition, our annual reception for accepted students and their parents attracts an impressive crowd at Oak Hill Country Club. In August, at a private home, alums host Rochester area freshmen and transfer students for a send-off party. It provides a unique opportunity for incoming students to meet classmates before heading off to campus.
